First meeting - arrival: Sunday, August 24, 2025 until 6:00 PM, when a joint dinner will be held. The first working day is Monday, August 25, 2025 at 9:00 AM. The planned end of the event is Friday, August 29, 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Lichtenstein City Palace in Vienna. Accommodation in Mauerbach is provided until Saturday, August 30, 2025, including breakfast.
Content
Professional seminars and workshops in Mauerbach. Restoration of historic parquet boards, solid parquet and veneer parquet, restoration of parquet floors in the Esterházy Palace, cleaning, strengthening and replenishment, traditional floor constructions and laying techniques, scraping, surface treatment. Rules during the Event
Increased caution and security will be required at the Mauerbach Charterhouse and at Esterházy Castle due to historical objects and equipment. The work is taking place directly on the grounds of the Charterhouse and the historical chambers of the palace. Smoking and eating, including drinking coffee or water, are prohibited in the building. There are designated areas where this is possible.
Work Outfit
Each participant will receive work pants and 3 T-shirts. These clothes must be worn throughout the event.
Accommodation
Accommodation is directly on the premises of the historic Mauerbach monastery house in 2-4 bed simple rooms: separate bathroom with towels (no hairdryer), no TV.
Dining
Breakfast, lunch and dinner, soft drinks and coffee during the day are provided for you.
